SCSHP Members at 2011 CSHP Seminar in Disneyland Hotel

Congratulations to the SCSHP members who presented at the 36th annual meeting of the California
Society of Health-System Pharmacists held at Disneyland Hotel. 2011 CSHP Seminar was another
successful event with over 3,000 attendees. The Seminar Management team, which included
several SCSHP members, brought members impressive education programs, several hospitality
events, and over 100 industry exhibits. SCSHP members were vital parts of the Seminar, the
largest state-run seminar for health-system pharmacists in the United States.

Kathleen Hill-Besinque Named CSHP Distinguished Service Award Winner

Congratulations to Kathy Besinque for being named CSHP Distinguished Service Award Winner for 2011.  This is one of CSHP's highest honors. The Distinguished Service Award recognizes one individual annually who has made exceptional and sustained contributions to the Society at the regional and state levels.  Kathy is a past CSHP Board Member, Chair of the House of Delegates, and is a CSHP and ASHP fellow. Cathy will be honored during the Volunteer Reception on Friday November 4th at Seminar 2011 at the Disneyland Hotel.

We still need Monitors and Moderators for CPE courses on Friday afternoon -Nov. 4th, Saturday throughout the day - Nov. 5th, and Sunday morning -Nov. 6th.

So join the fun, the education and networking !! As always, volunteering is truly rewarding and each person who volunteers 4 hours or more will be invited to the special Volunteers Reception which is a very special & fabulous event with plenty of surprises....
